If you thought the 2015 Ford F-150 couldn’t get any better, think again. For this year’s SEMA show, Ford will be presenting a customized F-150, adding on to the already incredible performance of the new model. Here at Sanderson Ford, we couldn’t believe our eyes when we saw it.
The new F-150 is especially remarkable because it is nearly 700 lbs. lighter than previous models. So when Ford announced they were upgrading this model even more, fans went crazy. According to Ford, the SEMA Custom F-150 is being presented in two versions: the Deegan 38 and the Vaughn Gittin Jr. Street Truck.
The Deegan 38 was built by Ford Racing’s Brian Deegan, and features a 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost engine. It also has Performance wheels and tires, a new suspension, and a new paintjob, among other things. “This F-150 should inspire the vast off-road, extreme-lifestyle-loving fan base to push the possibilities of the new 2015 F-150 and the awesome 3.5-liter EcoBoost® engine,” said Deegan.
The Vaughn Gittin Jr. Street Truck also features a custom suspension, weight reduction, and an air lift performance air ride among other things. “I am really pumped to get crazy in this F-150 at SEMA this year,” said Gittin.
With both versions of the truck being shown, both versions of the SEMA Custom F-150 are bound to impress.
