Remember to save the date: November 22nd. This date is Go For a Ride Day, the perfect way to relax and spend time with those you love. Although there’s no specific method for traveling that’s required to celebrate the holiday, we here at Sanderson Ford suggest taking a road trip.
According to Holiday Insights, Go For a Ride Day is designed to be a stress reliever for families before the holidays. Christmas and Thanksgiving are known for being especially chaotic, so getting out on the open road is a great way to take you mind off of some of the stress.
Naturally, we think you should drive your car; however, there are other methods suggested for the holiday. Take the bus, ride your motorcycle, or your bike if it’s warm enough. If it’s cold, try taking a sleigh ride or going in a horse drawn carriage. Snowmobiles and ATVs are also a great way to have fun.
How did it start? There are no origins for this holiday, but we can imagine how it came about. Getting together with family and friends is always important, so be sure to share a ride with those you love on November 22nd.
