Special Olympics Arizona Honors Sanderson Ford with Recognition Reception

MedalSpecial Olympics Arizona will be honoring Sanderson Ford with a Recognition Reception on Friday, April 5, 2013 from 4-6 PM.  This reception will celebrate Sanderson Ford’s large contribution to the organization.

Back in January, Sanderson Ford created a custom 2012 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor for the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, with all proceeds benefitting Special Olympics Arizona.  The truck was designed to mimic the look of the 1990s Rough Riders.  It sold at the auction and brought in over $100,000 for the Special Olympics.

The reception is open to the public and many special guests will attend, including Special Olympics athletes, Special Olympics Arizona CEO Tim Martin, Glendale City Vice Mayor Yvonne Knaack, Glendale Police Department Police Chief Black, and Glendale Council members.

Along with the dealership, the Sanderson Ford Recognition Reception will also celebrate all of the donors involved in the creation of the special edition Raptor.  It will take place at Sanderson Ford in Glendale.
