Ford revealed its all-new 2021 F-150 this summer, and it was clear from the jump that this was the best version of the legendary pickup yet. That fact is only clearer when you look at the numbers, which include best-in-class towing capacity and best-in-class payload.
According to Ford, the beefed-up twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost® V6, which now delivers 400 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque, enables best-in-class towing of 14,000 pounds.* That’s comfortably above every other light-duty full-size pickup, and it’s 800 pounds better than the 2020 Ford F-150.
With the venerable 5.0-liter V8, the 2021 Ford F-150 reigns supreme when it comes to payload. The 2021 F-150 delivers payload up to 3,325 pounds, out-hauling the next-closest competitor by more than 1,000 pounds.** This further solidifies the all-new F-150 as the go-to truck for all things hard work.
Speaking of hard work, the class-exclusive PowerBoost™ Full Hybrid V6 is no slouch when it comes to getting the job done. In addition to its standard Pro Power Onboard™ generator perfect for powering equipment, the F-150 PowerBoost™ offers max towing up to 12,700 pounds and a max payload of up to 2,120 pounds. The 2021 Ford F-150 once again leads the way, leaving other trucks to follow in its wake.
The 2021 Ford F-150, with all its incredible towing and payload capability, is coming to Sanderson Ford in Glendale, Arizona. Reach out to our sales team and we’ll make sure you’re one of the first behind the wheel of the toughest and most capable F-150 yet.
