The votes are in: the 2021 Ford F-150 and 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E win again. These two red-hot Ford vehicles came out on top of their respective segments in the 2021 North American Car, Truck, and Utility Vehicle of the Year (NACTOY) Awards™. Ford is now the first automaker to win two awards in the same year since 2014.
“This recognition for Mustang Mach-E and F-150 is validation not only for our brand, but also for our Ford team, which continues to innovate and deliver on its commitment to creating must-have products and services,” said Kumar Galhotra, president, Ford Americas and IMG. “The North American Car, Utility, and Truck of the Year Awards™ are among the most prestigious in the industry and such an honor serves as a capstone achievement for years of hard work for the Mustang Mach-E and F-150 teams.”
The 2021 Ford F-150 wins the title of North American Truck of the Year thanks to a range of incredible updates. The all-new F-150 adds gotta-have-it features like SYNC® 4 infotainment, a built-in Pro Power Onboard™ generator, and comfy available Max Recline Seats. On top of this, it’s simply the strongest and toughest truck out there, offering more max towing and payload than any other pickup in the segment.
Winning the 2021 North American Utility of the Year award is the all-new Mustang Mach-E. The first-of-its-kind electric SUV combined the performance prowess and iconic styling of America’s original pony car with exceptional zero-emissions range. The Mustang Mach-E offers up to 305 miles of all-electric range,* and the upcoming Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition offers lightning quickness with a 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds.**
