Ford Super Duty Gets Integrated Winch

2020 Ford F-250 Super Duty

Looking to take your workhorse out for a little playful off-roading after a hard day’s work? Now you can embrace outings like this with more certainty, thanks to the new integrated winch for Ford Super Duty trucks. Each 2020 Ford F-Series Super Duty pickups that include the Tremor Off-Road Package can be equipped with an electric winch.

The Ford Performance Parts winch was designed by Warn to winch up to 12,000 pounds. Current shoppers can choose to have it installed in the factory, but it’s also possible to have it as a dealer-installed after-sale accessory. The winch is available in both gas and diesel-powered Super Duty Tremor trucks.

The integrated winch balances safety, practicality, and capability. It’s fully integrated and mounted behind the bumper, so it doesn’t affect clearance at all. A high-tensile strength, abrasion-resistant synthetic cable allows the winch to clear obstacles with confidence, whether it’s dragging a fallen tree away from a path or pulling a rig from the mud. A class-exclusive wireless remote control is the standard mode of operation, but a wired remote control is available as well.

With the addition of the winch, which was designed to meet the Built Ford Tough standards, drivers have yet another way to put to use these powerful trucks, whether at work or at play. Get your winch-equipped Ford Super Duty at Sanderson Ford!

Ford Super Duty Performance is Best-in-Class

Ford Super Duty Performance | Phoenix, AZThe 2020 Ford F-Series Super Duty pickup truck is already living up to its predecessors with incredible capabilities. Thanks to its range of powerful engines, including a 7.3-liter V8 gas-powered engine and the 6.7-liter Power Stroke® diesel V8 engine, Ford Super Duty performance is already the best in its class in a number of ways.

  • With the Power Stroke engine, the 2020 F-Series Super Duty manages:
    • Best-in-class diesel power and torque at 475 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque.
    • Best-in-class max diesel conventional towing at 24,200 pounds.
    • Best-in-class diesel fifth-wheel towing at 32,500 pounds.
    • Best-in-class diesel gooseneck towing at 37,000 pounds.
  • With the standard gas-powered 6.2-liter engine, the 2020 F-Series Super Duty boasts best-in-class max payload capacity at 7,850 pounds.
  • With the 7.3-liter V8, the 2020 F-Series Super Duty achieves best-in-class horsepower and torque ratings at 430 hp and 475 lb-ft, respectively.

For improved towing, the Ford F-Series Super Duty is available with new technologies, including optional class-exclusive Pro Trailer Backup Assist and Trailer Reverse Guidance.

“Ford truck customers are building a better world with Super Duty, and we’re helping them work even harder with the most available diesel towing, payload, torque and power you can get in a heavy-duty pickup,” commented Mike Pruitt, Super Duty chief engineer. “We’re excited to be in the nation’s largest truck market at the State Fair of Texas announcing we’ve surpassed the kilotorque barrier and made it standard with every pickup truck featuring a Power Stroke diesel engine.”

The Ford F-Series of trucks has been the nation’s best-selling truck lineup for 42 years. With this latest iteration of the Super Duty, we don’t suspect that will change any time soon. Check out the 2020 Ford F-Series Super Duty trucks at Sanderson Ford!

The all-new V8 engine on the 2020 Ford Super Duty earns the title of best-in-class gas power and torque in the heavy-duty pickup segment. The new Ford Super Duty 7.3-liter V8 engine puts out out 430 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque, making it unsurpassed and unparalleled in its segment.

Because Ford Super Duty drivers spend so much time in harsh environments and towing massive loads, Ford wanted to develop an engine that could last in those conditions, with high-quality parts that don’t degrade easily and handling that doesn’t shy away from the work.

This engine is mounted to a 10-speed heavy-duty TorqShift® transmission, also all-new for 2020. Together, the engine and transmission provide long-lasting durability, easy accessibility for maintenance, and of course exceptional power.

The 7.3-liter V8 will be available on the Ford F-250 and F-350, and a modified version will come standard on F-450 chassis cab and several other Super Duty models from Class 2 through the commercial trucks in Class 7. Other engine options on the Super Duty lineup include 6.2-liter gas V8 and a 6.7-liter Power Stroke® diesel V8.

The new V8 engine is designed from top to bottom for superior displacement, temperature, and acceleration, with piston cooling jets, a variable-displacement oil pump, an overhead valve design, and larger main bearings.

The new 2020 Ford Super Duty and its mighty new 7.3-liter V8 will be available at Sanderson Ford later this year. Call or stop in to learn more about how you can get yours.
