2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E First Edition is Already Sold Out

2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E | Phoenix, AZ

The Ford Mustang Mach-E all-electric performance SUV may not come out for many more months, but the Mustang Mach-E First Edition is already out of reservation slots. As of December 30 of last year, some models such as the GT and Premium were still available, but that may have changed in the past few weeks.

Ford released a few pieces of data compiled from the Mach-E pre-orders, including that over a quarter of all orders came from buyers in California. There’s a small preference for all-wheel drive over rear-wheel drive — 55 percent of orders are AWD — while the extended range battery is much more popular than the standard range at 80 percent of pre-orders.

Ford first announced the new Mustang Mach-E, the first expansion on the Mustang lineup in its 55-year run, in November of 2019. The Mach-E is designed to deliver the thrilling ride of the Mustang sports car, plus the added utility of an SUV, topped off with all-electric performance that is both exhilarating and environmentally friendly.

Ford estimates that the Mach-E will have an all-electric range of around 300 miles, though EPA testing has not been completed yet. The Mach-E’s engine and electric motor combined will put out 332 horsepower and 417 lb-ft of torque, and Ford is tweaking the GT Performance Edition for leading acceleration at 0-60 mph in under 4 seconds.

Just because the Mustang Mach-E First Edition is sold out doesn’t mean you can’t get your hands on Ford’s exciting new electric SUV. Call Sanderson Ford and let us know about your interest in the Mach-E!

The Return of the Ford Bronco

This year’s North American International Auto Show will go down as historic amongst fans of a certain iconic 4×4 SUV. After all, it was there, in Detroit, that Ford announced the return of the Ford Bronco.

The Ford Bronco debuted over five decades ago in 1966. The year it first arrived, the Bronco was marketed as an off-road vehicle, designed to compete with the likes of the Jeeps and Scouts of its time. Many of the components on the original Bronco were borrowed from the Ford F-150. Though conceived as a compact SUV, the Bronco evolved quickly into a full-size SUV. Ford managed to tame the Bronco for a good 30 years until the automaker set it free in 1996.

Now the Bronco has been wrangled once again. According to Ford, the iconic 4×4 SUV is set to be revived for 2020. Details are scant on the new design, which is understandable, as the debut is still three years away. Judging from Ford’s presentation at the Detroit Auto Show, the classic Bronco emblem of a bucking bronco’s silhouette will return.

This time around, the Bronco will fall into the mid-size SUV range. It will be manufactured in the United States at Ford’s plant in Wayne, Michigan, meaningful as this is same plant where the original Bronco was manufactured.

Peoria, Arizona

Peoria, Arizona is home to a wonderful community that thrives outside of Phoenix. The city boasts a population of more than 154,000 and has a number of interesting things to do and see. The history behind the now-thriving area has a major significance in the area. Paying a visit to Peoria isn’t something many regret, especially after they’ve stopped by one of the local hotspots!

The city’s roots lie with four families who relocated to the area from Peoria, Illinois. The new arrivals were quick to file a plot map, complete with streets. Their efforts brought the Santa, Prescott, and Phoenix Railroad which gave the city’s popularity a boost as a popular stop.

There are dozens of museums oriented around space but the Challenger Space Center offers a unique look at what lies above us. The learning environment is perfect for families and adults alike. Activities include simulated space flight missions where visitors can take on the role of mission control, flight crews, and more.

There are few better places to grab a steak than Firebirds Wood Fired Grille. This premier restaurant is a local favorite due to its friendly atmosphere, helpful staff, and delicious food that brings return visitors time and time again.

We here at Sanderson Ford hope to see you around Peoria sometime soon!
