Sanderson Ford Co-Sponsors MIM Summer Music Series

The 2011 Summer Music Series at the Musical Instrument Museum is co-sponsored by Sanderson Ford. The MIM is hosting live performances by artists from across the United States and all over the world. The wide variety of events ensure that there is something for everyone.

The MIM Summer Music Series offers performances ranging from jazz, opera, Broadway show tunes, Japanese Arts, and West-African drumming. Some of the performers participating in this unique and up-close-and-personal experience include America’s Got Talent finalists Celtic Spring, the Kronos Quartet, Lee Konitz, and True Blood’s “Bad Things” writer Jace Everett.

Another exciting performance will come from a Mariachi band that interprets the music of The Beatles and Michael Kaeshammer, who entertains audiences with his boogie-woogie piano. Kaeshammer has been called Canada’s hottest triple threat, with his combination of vocal ability, piano virtuosity, and charisma.

Tickets can be purchased online at theMIM.org, by calling the Musical Instrument Museum ticket office at (480) 478-6000, or in person at the MIM. The Musical Instrument Museum also the “Pick Five” deal, allowing customers to create their own summer concert series. Events sell out fast, so it is important to purchase tickets early.

The 2011 Summer Music Series, brought to you in part by Sanderson Ford, offers a great way to beat the heat this summer.

Alan Mulally Visits Sanderson Ford

Ford CEO and President Alan Mulally dropped by Sanderson Ford today.  The whole dealership was excited to meet him!  He is the most genuine, likeable person I think I’ve ever met.

He is on vacation but took time to drop by the dealership to look around.  We gave him a tour of the Sanderson Village and Museum and I think he was impressed with the amount of Ford history Dave and Sue Kimmerle have collected.

Niel Shrock was our tour guide for the day and our Denver Regional Manager, Mark Witthar, was also able to attend.
