When you get behind the wheel, that’s when the magic happens. That’s when passive car shoppers turn into passionate vehicle owners. Sure, the facts and figures play a role in choosing your next vehicle, but when it just feels right to be in the driver’s seat, that’s often the moment that sells the car. That’s why we’re excited to announce the launch of the third Ford EcoBoost Challenge next month.
The Challenge will provide current Ford owners and potential consumers with the opportunity to test drive some of the most popular models in the automaker’s lineup. Participants can register for a time slot to experience the all-new Ford Edge and Expedition as well as the Escape, Fusion Hybrid, and Transit Connect Wagon. Even the famed all-new F-150 and Mustang models will be on hand for attendees to take for a spin.
In addition, participants can sign up for lessons in driving a manual vehicle when they register. Among those registered to attend the event, one winner will be chosen to receive a brand new Ford Edge.
“With EcoBoost engines now available across 100 percent of our U.S. light-duty lineup, the EcoBoost Challenge lets consumers experience this innovative technology that helps Ford deliver better fuel economy with a more engaging driving experience than the competition,” said Michele Bartlett, group marketing manager for Ford’s large cars and SUVs. “Not only is the EcoBoost Challenge a lot of fun, but getting people in the driver’s seat is the best way for them to experience the craftsmanship, innovation and performance of the Ford lineup.”
The Challenge will tour 17 cities across the United States, beginning in Miami on March 7th and ending at Phoenix’s WestWorld on May 2nd.
