2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E First Edition is Already Sold Out

2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E | Phoenix, AZ

The Ford Mustang Mach-E all-electric performance SUV may not come out for many more months, but the Mustang Mach-E First Edition is already out of reservation slots. As of December 30 of last year, some models such as the GT and Premium were still available, but that may have changed in the past few weeks.

Ford released a few pieces of data compiled from the Mach-E pre-orders, including that over a quarter of all orders came from buyers in California. There’s a small preference for all-wheel drive over rear-wheel drive — 55 percent of orders are AWD — while the extended range battery is much more popular than the standard range at 80 percent of pre-orders.

Ford first announced the new Mustang Mach-E, the first expansion on the Mustang lineup in its 55-year run, in November of 2019. The Mach-E is designed to deliver the thrilling ride of the Mustang sports car, plus the added utility of an SUV, topped off with all-electric performance that is both exhilarating and environmentally friendly.

Ford estimates that the Mach-E will have an all-electric range of around 300 miles, though EPA testing has not been completed yet. The Mach-E’s engine and electric motor combined will put out 332 horsepower and 417 lb-ft of torque, and Ford is tweaking the GT Performance Edition for leading acceleration at 0-60 mph in under 4 seconds.

Just because the Mustang Mach-E First Edition is sold out doesn’t mean you can’t get your hands on Ford’s exciting new electric SUV. Call Sanderson Ford and let us know about your interest in the Mach-E!

Tips for Keeping Your New Year’s Resolutions

Keeping Your New Year's Resolutions

Many people find themselves making steadfast promises to themselves in January only to falter on them come February. Arm yourself with these tips to help you stick to your ambitions all year long.

Start Small

While it’s good to set high standards for yourself, if you make goals that are too far-fetched you’ll be hard-pressed to reach them. Instead, start with small goals and add more each month.

Talk About It

An effective way of staying on track with your goals is to talk about your progress regularly with friends and/or family members. You can also keep a journal or online blog that records your experience, while holding you accountable to your resolutions.

Don’t Give Up

Sometimes people go into New Year’s resolutions with an all-or-nothing attitude. But you have to give yourself some wiggle room and plenty of forgiveness to succeed in the long-run. Remind yourself that a perfect record is not what a resolution is about. If you slip up, start again the next day. There’s no need to give up and wait until the next New Year to start making positive life changes.

Happy New Year from all of us here at Sanderson Ford! And good luck on your goals for 2018.

Signs You Need New Tires

Need New Tires

Keeping your tires in good condition is one of the simplest yet most effective ways to get the most out of your vehicle. When tires are damaged or low on tread, this impacts your vehicle’s traction. This is especially true when traversing on dry, rough Arizona roads. Tires need to be in excellent shape to perform safely and efficiently.

So how do you know if you need new tires? There are several warning signs that will tell you whether it’s time to bring your vehicle into Sanderson Ford for some new tires. Repeat blowouts are one sure sign that you should replace your tires. This problem indicates that wheels should be replaced or repaired, since a bent wheel is likely causing the damage to the tire that triggers it to blow out.

Another sign that your tires are worn enough to replace is a change in the smoothness of your vehicle’s performance. Have you begun to notice constant vibrating when you’re on the road? Vibration related to the tires typically worsens at higher speeds. This may be a sign that you have a bent rim, which will eventually cause a flat tire if not replaced. Slight vibrations can also be a sign that a tire has worn down unevenly or has bumps or other damage, which would mean that the tire itself is ready to be replaced.

Learn to watch for these warning signs and keep your tires in good shape so you can easily tackle the challenging Arizona terrain.
